Support and Hosting of Events

Supporting or hosting a fundraising event for Trócaire can be an excellent way for companies to support our work. We are grateful that our corporate supporters host clients and customers at a range of fundraising events around the country from International Women’s Day Events and Christmas Fundraisers in Leinster House. Corporations can show their
solidarity and drive towards equality in supporting the work of Trócaire by attending or organising events.

Ceann Comhairle Events

The Ceann Comhairle hosts events throughout the year in Leinster House in aid of Trócaire celebrate the generosity and compassion of the corporate community. From wonderful Christmas and International Women’s Day events these unique experiences are an exceptional opportunity to host your most important clients and customers.

Charity Partners

GAA Charity Partner of the Year

Trócaire was delighted to be selected as one of the GAA’s five charity partners in 2023. The money which was raised through this partnership went to supporting Trócaire’s work in Syria following its worsening humanitarian crisis as a result of the Turkey/Syria earthquake in February 2023.

Charity Partner for the Future Health Summit in 2022 and 2023

Trócaire had the honour of being chosen as the charity partner for the Future Health Summit in 2022 and 2023. In the region of Gedo in Somalia, Trócaire run the main healthcare and hospital support system, this includes four hospitals, five health centres, three tuberculosis centres, eleven primary health care units and seven mobile clinics.

Matched or Payroll Giving

Another great way to give to Trócaire is through matched giving. Some companies will match their employees’ charitable donations. Enquire with your company to see if they do Matched Giving or Payroll giving and then contact us for any necessary documentation.
