Irish Aid is the Irish Government's programme for overseas development and humanitarian support. It is funded by the Irish taxpayer. Trócaire has a long-standing relationship and strong partnership with Irish Aid.

Irish Aid is Trócaire's largest institutional funder, with almost €31.5m provided to our programmes in 2022/23.
In Ireland, Irish Aid supports Trócaire to engage the public through awareness raising and development education. We build support and understanding of global justice issues and Ireland’s contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals and development and humanitarian assistance in the Global South.
