Boxer Carl Frampton supports Christmas campaign

carl framptonCarl and his wife Christine visited Trócaire’s humanitarian programme Kenya last month.

We are so grateful to champion boxer Carl Frampton and his wife Christine who visited Kenya with us last month and undertook a major media awareness raising campaign in support of our emergency response there. 

As you may know, Trócaire has been responding to the severe hunger situation in the Turkana region of Kenya which escalated significantly this year due to extended drought. 

Carl and his wife worked tirelessly to highlight the situation in the media upon their return with multiple interviews for TV, radio and press.

Joe Duffy kindly hosted Trócaire's first Christmas Gala Concert at Mount Argus Church, Harold’s Cross, where well-known artists, performers and choirs entertained attendees with seasonal favourites.
