With Irish people having donated millions of euro to help famine victims in east Africa, the current crisis is just the latest example of how Irish people respond to humanitarian disasters around the world. Over recent years, people in Ireland have been quick to respond to disasters in places such as Haiti, Pakistan, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia and Indonesia, amongst others.

Money donated by Irish people makes a phenomenal difference to people who have had their lives ripped apart by famine, floods, earthquakes or other disasters. It saves lives, rebuilds communities and enables people to get back on their feet.

On behalf of the people your money has helped: thank you for your continued support!
