December 5th is International Volunteer Day, a special occasion to recognise and celebrate the remarkable work of volunteers across Ireland. At Trócaire, we are immensely grateful for the unwavering dedication, compassion and commitment shown by our volunteers who bring our mission to life every day. On this day we extend our deepest thanks to each of you who chosen to stand with us in the fight for global justice and the protection of human rights. Trócaire’s volunteer programme is supported by Irish Aid, and is essential to achieve Goal 5 of Trócaire’s of strategic plan to mobilise people in Ireland to achieve global justice, by fostering a culture of global solidarity in Ireland through engagement, awareness and campaigning.
