The massive earthquake that struck Morocco only days ago has left people’s lives in ruin. Devastated survivors are pleading for help. Caked with dust and tears, the injured and their desperate families are pouring into makeshift medical centres and any hospitals still standing. The young and the old are spending sleepless nights totally exposed to the cold and dark as terrifying aftershocks threaten to collapse remaining buildings. Wrecked roads in remote areas, where human suffering is most severe, make mainstream assistance all but impossible.

The 6.8 magnitude quake has left utter destruction. But with your help and your love now, through the Trócaire network, our local partners in Morocco can get through. If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Trócaire NI asks you to.
