Huge thanks to volunteers, Padraig Fitzgerald and Ger Timmons of Kinsale Peace Project for welcoming Dr. Nick Maynard, a leading consultant surgeon from Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) to Kinsale recently. Garry Walsh, Trócaire’s campaigns manager, spoke in the Trident Hotel about
the work we are doing through partners such as MAP and Caritas Jerusalem. Dr. Nick gave a powerful firsthand account of the medical work he does in Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
