We all felt shock and sadness when we heard of the attacks on the
Palestinians in May. All we could do to help was to share our love with the
people affected by the attacks.
Volunteers in all the regions of Ireland took turns in lighting candles and
expressing their love and solidarity for Gaza.
Deirdre Campbell (Trócaire) who organised the vigil said: “Our aim is to offer
light in the dark, to create connection, solidarity and support for people living
in Gaza.”
