Trócaire Submission on Ireland’s 2016 Budget

Sustained economic growth in Ireland has not yet been accompanied by policy decisions to renew progress towards fulfilling our commitment to the 0.7% target.

Policy inaction means the financing gap between commitment and allocation is increasing year on year.

The budget in October 2016 needs to halt this trend by at a minimum stabilising the percentage allocation.
