The 2008 Trócaire Development Review focuses on the issue of climate change. Specifically, articles discuss the various impacts of efforts in Brazil to switch from hydrocarbons to biofuels through increased production of ethanol, some of negative impacts of global climate change and how we can adapt to these unavoidable changes, what faith-based communities can do to tackle climate change, and capacity building and social development within development work more generally. Finally, several recently-published key texts on development are reviewed.
