Trócaire Development Review 2002

The 2002 Trócaire Development Review addresses themes at the juncture of peace, development and global security. Questions directly related to global governance are discussed in view of the changing political climate post-11 September 2001. In addition, the emerging patterns within global political, economic and military governance structures are examined, with links drawn to these and to issues of development and underdevelopment. In particular, there is a focus on the various agricultural interventions and policies at play and the effects these are having on global governance. Finally, several recently-published key texts on development are reviewed.
 
About the Trócaire Development Review
The Review draws together policy analysis and research finding with a particular relevance to Ireland's evolving role in international development. Articles are on economic, social and political themes relating to poverty and injustice in the developing world.
