The Letter Catechesis Resource Leaders Guide

In 2015 Pope Francis wrote an open letter, called Laudato Si’, to the people of the world. In the letter he discusses the damage being caused to planet Earth by humans and our responsibility to make urgent changes to our lifestyles in order to protect the planet. Laudato Si’ deals with issues such as climate change, lack of clean water, pollution and careless disposal of waste, loss of animal species due to human activity, and the decline in the quality of human life as a result of these things. Pope Francis begs us to work together to take care of, respect and value the earth, which he calls ‘our common home’
