Situational Analysis – The State of Localisation in Zimbabwe:

The State of Localisation in Zimbabwe: A case study of Cyclone Idai and the 2019/2020 drought emergency responses documents the extent to which localisation is being put into practice in Zimbabwe and the role of local and national actors during and after two recent crises. The study offers numerous findings and recommendations that, if implemented, can influence the policies and practices of donors, INGOs, UN agencies and local authorities while contributing to a necessary shift in power to local and national NGOs.

The study was commissioned by Trócaire, CAFOD, Caritas Zimbabwe and Welthungerhilfe.
