In 2013 Trócaire celebrated forty years since its foundation by the Irish Bishops. To mark this important occasion, the international conference New Global Policy, Same Local Reality? was held in Dublin on 21 March 2013. The conference brought together staff, partners, policy makers, political leaders, faith-based leaders and friends of Trócaire to reflect on the work of the organisation to date and consider some of the burning global issues we currently face.
