Listening to Women Peacebuilders – Perspectives on Women, Peace and Security from Kachin and northern Shan States, Myanmar

Marking the twentieth anniversary of Women, Peace and Security (WPS), Trocaire and Oxfam produced the first WPS Policy Paper of the EU-funded Durable Peace Programme (DPP). This Policy Paper explores the diverse and critical roles women and WROs play in Kachin and northern Shan States that cut across, link with and strengthen each of the pillars of the WPS agenda and advocates for the full, equal and meaningful participation of women across peace and security processes to achieve sustainable, equitable and gender-just peace in Myanmar.
