Citizen Monitoring and Advocacy Framework

Trócaire’s Citizen Monitoring and Advocacy framework provides guidance to programme staff and partner organisations on our Citizen Monitoring and Advocacy approach, including explanation of key concepts, laying the groundwork and examples of the range of strategies that falls under supporting groups of organised citizens to take targeted actions at any level to monitor and advocate for change in state and non-state institutional policies and practices, in order to realise their rights and entitlements and hold duty-bearers to account.
