A Trócaire policy briefing presenting an alternative perspective on the role of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in low income countries. It analyses the implementation of the lending instruments which support the poverty reduction strategy paper (PRSP) process, namely the Poverty Reduction and Growth Facility (PRGF).
