Trócaire works in partnership with a range of organisations and communities to bring about change. This change is sought at individual, community, societal and institutional levels.
We work with people to tackle the root causes of poverty, not just the symptoms.
We support women and men to stand up for their rights, as well as demanding those in power recognise their responsibilities to those they serve.
Marginalised people have their human rights respected. Governments are protecting democratic space.
People have access to and control of natural resources. We help people to manage those resources sustainably.
Women have a strong voice in their communities and are free from violence.
Communities are better prepared to withstand humanitarian crises. When crises do hit, people receive support to recover.
The Irish public, including policy makers, are knowledgeable and supportive of global justice.
We foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning and improvement.
We have strong and diverse partners. We are working in networks to achieve greater impact.
We have increased and diversified institutional income. Our support amongst the Irish public remains high.
Trócaire is efficient, effective and accountable in all our work.
