We do so by focusing on five key goals.
Trócaire works to tackle the underlying causes of poverty and injustice. The world’s most at-risk communities need to retain their access to land, natural resources and fundamental freedoms to lift themselves out of poverty. Too often, these are ignored or violated.
Supporting communities to sustain their livelihoods and to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.
Improving the safety, wellbeing, participation and leadership of women and girls.
Supporting locally-led humanitarian responses to save lives, reduce suffering and protect human dignity.
Fostering a culture of global solidarity in Ireland through engagement, awareness and campaigning.
