Safeguarding people from exploitation and abuse caused by our representatives, programmes or activities remains a core commitment for Trócaire.  Trócaire has worked extensively to ensure that safeguarding is embedded throughout all our work both in Ireland and overseas.

We are committed to creating an environment which prevents abuse and exploitation and have in place a suite of policies including safe recruitment, safeguarding, code of conduct and mechanisms for raising and responding to concerns.

As Trócaire works in partnership, we also continue to work with our partners to strengthen their safeguarding policies and practices.
