Ruairi Douglas We have an abundance of food, yet people are still going hungry. The focus of my film is on the amount of food we waste and how these vast quantities would be more than enough to feed the 1 in 6.
The concept is very simple. The man seated at the table represents the 5 in 6 people: there is an abundance of food at the table which he devours, discarding what he doesn't want. The man sitting on the floor represents the 1 in 6.
