The Zimbabwe Catholic Bishops’ Conference (ZCBC) has issued a number of important Pastoral Letters in recent years. The most recent letter on National Healing and Reconciliation, titled ‘God Can Heal the Wounds of the Afflicted’, was released on 1st October 2009. This letter calls for support for a proposal by the Zimbabwean Churches and Civil Society for a comprehensive process of national healing and reconciliation.
