The Wave is Coming!!!

Momentum is building towards The Wave - Ireland's biggest ever demonstration to demand action on climate change!

12 noon on Saturday 5th December, thousands of people from all walks of life will be meeting at Customs House quay and flooding the streets of Dublin to call for a fair and safe global climate deal at the crucial UN Climate summit in Copenhagen. There will also be Waves happening in Paris, Berlin, Brussels, London, Glasgow and Belfast.

Organised by the Stop Climate Chaos coalition, of which Trocaire are active members, the Wave will send a powerful and timely message to Ireland’s political leaders - and it’s also going to be a lot of fun! Right now we’re busily building some great props, gathering all kinds of blue costumes, practicing our wavey arm movements and of course getting the word out far and wide.
