Pastoral and Liturgy Resources for Parishes and Community Groups

All of Trócaire's work, here in Ireland as well as overseas, is informed by Catholic Social Teaching (CST). Guided by Gospel principals, we use CST to bring social justice issues alive in parishes, classrooms and community groups across the island of Ireland.
In this section you'll find a range of resources for use in your parish or community group, designed to help bring together faith and action on social justice issues.
Read our September newsletter 'Seeking Refuge' to learn more about the refugee crisis and what your parish can do to help. Download stations of the cross drawn by children affected by war in Syria.

Rediscovering Mercy
rediscovering mercy

This course aims to create a space for reflection on how mercy is both experienced and expressed in our lives, in the Scriptures, in our Church and in the work of Trócaire. The course consists of four sessions over four consecutive weeks, and is particularly suitable to the seasons of Advent or Lent. Each session takes 60-80 minutes.

Lenten Liturgy
Lent Liturgy Resources

Trócaire's Lenten Liturgy resources from 2015, 2014 and 2013 plus useful supplementary resources are available for download.

These resources support work in parishes to show our solidarity with communities in developing countries who are impacted by the injustices of poverty and inequality.

Parishes for Climate Justice

Inspired by the words of Pope Francis in Laudato Si', we are joining with Catholics worldwide, as part of the Global Catholic Climate Movement to call on our political leaders to take urgent action to prevent climate change pushing people deeper into poverty.

Be part of this global movement by signing this petition now and we will deliver it to Taoiseach Enda Kenny/Prime Minister David Cameron on your behalf before they travel to Paris for the major climate negotiations there at the end of November.

Download print-ready petitions and get your local community to sign up:

Below are resources to support activities during this month within your parish community with regard to responding as Christians to care of the environment.
