Your gift of a mobile HIV clinic will help to stop the spread of HIV in Uganda.
In Uganda many people live in extreme poverty in isolated communities which are often far away from any health services.
With this gift you will help to provide mobile clinics to bring live-saving health services to rural families affected by HIV.
Not only will the clinics attend to those who are sick but, through education and counselling, they will help entire communities to prevent the further spread of HIV.

Maria Nyananga puts herself last.
She cares for nine children, four of which are her orphaned grandchildren, in a small shack with a leaking roof.
Only two children are in school because she can’t afford school fees and one child is bedridden with suspected HIV.
Although Maria suffers from untreated diabetes and hypertension, her own medical needs are neglected.
A mobile health clinic funded by Trocaire has recently started visiting Maria and it is hoped that her life will become easier with its support.
She has received bedding, food, soap and other essentials initially and the care will progress from there.
Maria and her family’s problems are overwhelming, but at least now she has somewhere to turn, as she cares selflessly for her children.
