Fishermen in South East Asia too often see their fishing boats, their only lifeline, destroyed by storms. Trócaire has helped fishermen such as Boonchu, Wichai, Charan and Sura (pictured here) get back to work and support their families. The Gift of a Fishing Boat and Nets will provide farmers from Burma, whose boats were destroyed by last year’s cyclone, with the means to fish again.
