We have published our very own edition of Peters Projection World Map thanks to Oxford Cartographers. This map gives a more accurate and proportionate impression of the world and can be used as an educational tool. Arno Peters, a historian from Bremen, developed a map of the world for our time. Faithful in area, axis and position, it accurately represents the proportions of the northern and southern hemispheres. The Peters Map and the Peters Atlas are refreshing alternatives to the outdated eurocentric perspective that has clouded our world-view for 400 years. The Peters map shows every country in its true size and on equal footing. To order a print of the map please contact Mary Boyce on mboyce@trocaire.ie or call (01) 6293333.
