Digna and her family live in Northern Honduras, where struggles over land can be a matter of life and death. Those who fight for the right to own land regularly face intimidation, violence and even murder.

The government has promised Digna’s community title to this land but has not delivered, leaving her and 518 other families at the mercy of a wealthy landowner. The intimidation and violence go unpunished in Digna’s country. There are no investigations, no prosecutions and there is no justice.
